Reports coming out of Botswana are that Bloemfontein Celtic are interested in the services of Bonolo Phuduhudu and Saukani Zulu.
The duo play for Botswana Defence Force XI and have had tongues wagging with their eye-catching performances. Phuduhudu is an exciting talent from Botswana, while Zulu was recruited from Zambia, and both are 25 years of age.
It is believed that Celtic scouts have been keeping tabs on the two players for a while and the club is expected to make a formal bid for their services in the January transfer window. For their part, BDF XI have revealed that they won’t stand in the way of their players if an opportunity to move to greater heights presents itself.
When the Siya crew contacted Celtic’s technical director Mich D’Avray to comment on their reported interest in the duo, he said, “It’s news to me. What are their names? I can categorically state that we are not interested in them. I’ve never ever heard of them.”
