With the 2013 edition of the Carling Black Label Cup just around the corner, Soccer-Laduma takes a closer look at the players you can vote for to represent your team in the competition.
Everyday leading up to the big game on 27 July, Soccer-Laduma will be profiling one Orlando Pirates player and one Kaizer Chiefs player daily, with career backgrounds on display so you can make your voting choice.

Soccer-Laduma will also be running user polls to gauge the popularity of the players profiled.

Erick Mathoho became a fearless defender while coming through the ranks of Bloemfontein Celtic. When Mathoho broke into the senior team, he partnered captain and fellow Bafana centre back, Thabo Nthethe. The two formed a formidable partnership, before Tower was sold to Kaizer Chiefs for a reported R5 million.
Mathoho has enjoyed a spectacular season with the Amakhosi, while cementing his place at the heart of the defence.
He played a major part in Bafana’s recent World Cup Qualifiers, where he was reunited with former teammate, Thabo Nthethe.
Mathoho is closing in on 200 000 votes and looks set to start in this year’s Carling Black Label Cup against Orlando Pirates.
