Check the voting on your favourite teams on the Carling Black Label website here!
Soccer-Laduma will also be running user polls to gauge the popularity of the players profiled.
Orlando Piraes CBL profiles:
Name: Rooi Mahamutsa
D.O.B: 26/10/81
Team: Orlando Pirates
CBL last Year: Played full 120 minutes
2012/2013 PSL Stats: Played 8, Scored 0
Rooi Mahamutsa is back to full fitness for Orlando Pirates, after his recovery from a long-term injury. Mahamutsa missed the better part of last season due to an Achilles tendon injury he picked up in November.
The strong central defender will be pleased to get another opportunity to play in a high-profile game against Kaizer Chiefs, to test his readiness for the new season.
Mahamutsa did well in the last two editions of the Carling Black Label Cup, having played in both games for Bucs. The 31-year-old scored crucial penalties in each of the two games, as Pirates won the competition in 2011, while defending it last year.
However, the fans need to contribute more votes if they want to see Mahamutsa in their team in this year’s competition, as the player is currently on the bench.
Should Mahamutsa make the CBL 2013 squad for Pirates? Vote here!
