Collins Mbesuma is looking forward to his first appearance in the Carling Black Label Cup during this year’s competition. The Zambian is expected to lead the attack for Bucs on July 27, judging by how the voting process has been going since the lines were open.
Although the Pirates fans were keen to see the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations medal winner start alongside with Benni McCarthy against Kaizer Chiefs, such is no longer a possibility as the Bafana Bafana’s all-time top goal scorer recently announced his retirement from the game.
Mbesuma has already accumulated over 100 000 votes in the Carling Black Label Cup. Pirates’ fans are confident that the striker can perform miracles against his former club at FNB Stadium.
