A Cape Town City winger has revealed how he picked Orlando Pirates’ ‘weakness’ in preparing for this weekend’s match.
Charles Zulu, who is one of the new signings this season for the Citizens, has been familiarising himself with his new surroundings, having joined the Mother City outfit from Zambian club Zanaco.
“Football now is tactical, even the game that Pirates played against Baroka I watched it because I knew that we were going to play against Pirates so that it can be easy for me to know the weakness of Pirates,” said the 24-year-old, speaking to the Siya crew during the club’s press conference on Wednesday.
“That is why I watched the game which they played against Baroka. So now I have to use my weapon for me to do what I want in the game,” Zulu added.
Zulu, who has made two substitute appearances so far under Jan Olde Riekerink, says his speed and skill are his weapon that the Buccaneers should watch out for if he gets selected in the Dutch coach’s match-day squad on Saturday at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch.
