After losing two key players during the January transfer window in Bradley Ralani and Fagrie Lakay to Mamelodi Sundowns and Egyptian club Pyramids respectively, Cape Town City have made a top signing of their own.
As confirmed by the Mother City outfit, Eric Tinkler’s squad has been bolstered with the addition of Venezuelan midfielder Darwin Jesus González Mendoza.
The 27-year-old has been on the books of Deportivo La Guaira in the Venezuelan top tier league until December last year.
The arrival of González in Mzansi follows that of his countryman Juan Carlos Ortiz who was unveiled at Stellenbosch FC last week, as reported by the Siya crew.
