City tweeted on their official Twitter account, “Judas Moseamedi signs new contract! The 23y centre-forward has been an incredible asset to the club's strike-force and the club has rewarded him with a new improved contract that extends to June 2022.”

Following Lehlohonolo Majoro’s move from City to Bidvest Wits, Moseamedi will be expected to play a more important role at the club under Coach Benni McCarthy.
