Cape Town City are looking to conclude up to two more signings in the current January transfer window.
The Mother City-based club have so far snapped up the services of Kwanda Mngonyama, Masoud Juma and Bradley Ralani, although the club’s chairman, John Comitis confirmed that City could be announcing two more signings in the coming days.
“We definitely have one more that we have signed and we are very quiet about it. We are expecting arrival in the next 48 hours and an outside possibility of one other and that would be something that we can only disclose at the time, but if I get it right, there will be two more,” Comitis told the media at a press conference on Wednesday.
The deadline for the submission of the CAF Confederations Cup squad list has since passed (January 15) and indications are that Head Coach Benni McCarthy is satisfied with the current personnel at hand for the competition, however, it seems that the Mother City-based club are still eager to bolster their squad as they look to challenge for the Absa Premiership league title.
Now, it remains to be seen who City will look to add on their books in the coming days. The Siya crew will investigate and keep you updated.
