Khanyisa Mayo has been unveiled at a DStv Premiership club after officially parting ways with Richards Bay FC.
As reported by the Siya crew, the forward was set to leave the KwaZulu-Natal GladAfrica Championship side for Cape Town City, and the Mother City club has since confirmed adding him to their roster.
“Cape Town City are delighted to announce the signing of South African forward Khanyisa Mayo. Let’s welcome our new Citizen!” the Citizens confirmed the signing on the club’s official Twitter account.
The 22-year-old becomes City's sixth signing ahead of the 2021/22 season after the addition of Democratic Republic of the Congo defender Nathan Idumba Fasika, young defender Patrick Fisher, midfielder Katlego Mokhuoane, as well as goalkeepers Darren Keet and Bongani Mpandle to the team.
