SuperSport United take on Mpumalanga Black Aces this weekend in the 17th league match between the two, since 1990, as Matsatsantsa try and stay top of the PSL.
Cavin Johnson’s men have had an impressive start to their 2013/14 Absa Premiership season, winning three out of three in the PSL and taking a two point lead at the top of the log.
However, SuperSport don’t have the best record against AmaZayoni, especially away from home, and will no doubt have their work cut out against Clive Barker’s team on Saturday.
In the 16 previous league meetings between the two sides, Aces have won eight games, losing only four, and have only failed to win at home once in eight attempts.
However, Johnson’s men will be extremely high on confidence at present, having scored more goals than anyone else in the division, while having conceded just two.
Meanwhile, Aces’ only win of the season was their 2-1 victory over AmaZulu last month.
The game, which has been moved to Mbombela Stadium from Kees Taljaard Stadium, will take place at 15h00 on September 15.
Do you think SuperSport will still be unbeaten by the end of the weekend?
