Lamontville Golden Arrows could qualify for CAF Champions League for the first time in their history and former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder discusses their chances in the competition.
Abafana Bes'thende are currently in second position in the DStv Premiership log, and former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Ntokozo Sikhakhane believes that Arrows could rise to the challenge of competing in a continental competition.
"Yes I believe Golden Arrows are good enough to compete in CAF. Football is the same, its either you play in Spain or Zimbabwe, its the same. Ita all about the mental strength of each player in dealing with pressure against bigger teams," Skhakhane responds
"As long as you perform well and work hard you guaranteed success, so I believe, this Arrows side led by coach Mandla and Mabhudi can make us proud as a Province."
'Koloba' who also played for AmaZulu says that football in KZN has been revived, as supporters hope for Richards Bay FC's promotion to the top flight.
"It's a good feeling for the province, this has revived football spirit as we haven't had this feeling before where almost all KZN teams are doing well, Richards Bay are also doing well in the GladAfrica Championship which means we might have teams in the top division next season as I believe Maritzburg United will survive relegation."
