De Sa has not lost a game against SuperSport since he took over the coaching post at Pirates during the start of the 2012/13 season and will be hoping to put one over Matsatsantsa and reach the Telkom Knockout Final.
“I heard that SuperSport have always done better against Pirates especially in cup competition, but since I haven’t lost against them since I joined Pirates, I can’t comment much on that,” said De Sa.
“But what I can say is that, we’re expecting a very tough match against SuperSport. They are a very good team and we can’t take them lightly. Plus this is a cup competition and I’m sure that, just like us, they’ll love to be in the Telkom Knockout final, “added De Sa.
De Sa admitted that the two Bafana Bafana friendlies against Swaziland and Spain disrupted his plans for this game against SuperSport.

“I would have loved to have more time with the guys, but I can’t complain because they were representing the country. I hope they will quickly regroup, so that we can prepare adequately for this game,” concluded De Sa.
The clash between Pirates and SuperSport will take place at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday at 15h00.
