Former Maritzburg United midfielder, Calvin Sosibo, is eager to make a return to the PSL following a lengthy spell away from the game.
The 29-year-old, who spent a two-year spell in Turkey not so long ago, was released by the Team of Choice back in 2012 after sustaining a cruciate injury while playing in Pietermaritzburg.
Now, after nearly two years out of the game it seems he is now ready to try and make a return.
Speaking to the Siya crew, the player’s manager, Sinesipho Mali, said, “Calvin is a very experienced left-footer, he has played at a higher level and all of our national teams. I am happy that he is keen to return to the PSL after an injury that sidelined him for some time, and I’ve already spoken to a couple of teams that are keen to have a look at him, though I can’t mention names right now.
“Calvin is keeping fit on his own now and he’s very disciplined, he has a lot to offer in the PSL still. As soon as anything concrete comes up for him then you’ll be the first to know.”
It remains to be seen who will be willing to take a chance on the left-footed midfielder, though the Siya crew will continue to track his movements.
