AmaTuks defender, Buhle Mkhwanazi, says his side will be ready to take on Free State Stars in their league encounter tonight.
The University of Pretoria will be playing away to second from bottom Ea Lla Koto at the Charles Mopeli Stadium.
Tuks are fresh from a 2-1 victory over Moroka Swallows last Tuesday at Tuks Stadium, a result that should be seen as a motivating factor coming into this encounter.
Speaking to the crew, the Bafana Bafana centre-back stated that their aim is to continue collecting maximum points.
“We’ve prepared well for this one and we had enough time to get to study their game and rectify our errors. We’re looking forward to the game and the guys are raring to go. We know they’re down there but that doesn’t mean we must underestimate their ability to cause an upset. We’ve now reached the 30-points mark, and we have to take each and every game as it comes. If we can do well in our last four remaining games, we can book a spot in the top eight," he said.
“Obviously, we beat them in the first round, and they’re now looking for points at all costs so this will be a tough game I must say. We’ll go there ready for anything they’ll throw at us. We aim to turn their desperation into our advantage. It’s not going to be easy to go to their homeground and get points, but we want to do that,” added Mkhwanazi.
This encounter will get underway at Charles Mopeli Sytadium at 18:00.
