News reaching the Siya crew is that Orlando Pirates have intensified their efforts to sign Thamsanqa Gabuza.
The Golden Arrows striker is no longer interested to continue his career at the Durban-based club and has subsequently put in a transfer request.
Meanwhile, Bucs coach Roger de Sa has gone on record saying that they are wanting to secure another striker before the end of the transfer window, despite having already added Kermit Erasmus to their roster, with indications that Gabuza is a target for the Soweto giants.

The crew can now reveal that negotiations between the two clubs have been ongoing and it is believed that he could complete the move to Pirates before the end of the weekend.
The 26-year-old marksman started 16 league games and scored one goal for Arrows last season, but is hoping that a change in environment will help him realise his full potential.
