The Siya crew can report that Keagan Buchanan has signed for Bloemfontein Celtic. The 21-year-old player impressed during the Gauteng Cup and it comes as no surprise that Siwelele have added him to their squad.
He is a product of the Old Mutual Academy, having previously turned out for both SuperSport United and FC Cape Town. Buchanan is expected to be gradually introduced to first team football under the mentorship of coach Clinton Larsen, as he looks to develop his career in Mangaung.
The club’s technical director, Mich D’Avray, told the crew, “He’s signed for us on a four-year deal. He’s an exceptional talent and we’re happy to have him here.”
Meanwhile, D’Avray confirmed that Lerato Lamola, who scored against University of Pretoria in the Gauteng Cup semi-final, has signed a two-year deal.
