Ajax Cape Town goalkeeper, Brandon ‘Beeza’ Petersen, would pick himself as a striker in a five-a-side team also featuring an Orlando Pirates star.
In his team, Petersen would have teammate at the Urban Warriors and fellow goalkeeper Jody February between the sticks, with Roscoe Petersen doing the defensive duties in front of him.
“My five-a-side team would have to be…in goal would have to be Jody February, not only because he’s a good friend of mine, but I think he’s a very good and young talented goalkeeper. Also, he likes five-a-side, so he would be my goalkeeper,” said Petersen.
“In front of him, my defender…I’d only play with one defender and that’s Roscoe Petersen, a good friend of mine also and my golf buddy. For me, he’s technically very good and he’s not only a guy who likes to kick people but he’s the one who can really play also from behind. So, yeah, he’s my defender,” added the goalkeeper.
The 23-year-old shot-stopper picks himself to play up front ahead of one of the strikers from Ajax, who only manages to get a place in the team through dropping into a midfield role.
