Platinum Stars striker, Henrico Botes, who is on the verge of becoming the club’s all-time top scorer, says that he’s purely focused on the team.
The 33-year-old forward has already opened his MTN8 account this season, scoring against Wits, and is within touching distance of breaking the record.

Now Dikwena face Orlando Pirates in the final of this season’s MTN8 as they look to win their first piece of silverware since 2006, and Botes needs just two goals to etch his name into the club’s history book.s
However, despite this, Botes says that tomorrow’s game is all about the team, and not personal glory.
Speaking to the Siya crew he said, “It’s a very big game for us, and even though a lot of people have written us off we’re still confident. I know I’m close to breaking a record at the club, but the team comes first. Persona glory will follow.
“We came so close to winning things last year, so this year we’ll have to do it.”
Tomorrow's game between Stars and Pirates begins at 20h15.
