Booysen Still Out For Maritzburg

Maritzburg United defender David Booysen is still on the injured reserve list for the club. The player picked up a knee injury at training earlier this season and was forced to undergo corrective surgery as a result.

The club has suffered from a variety of injuries to different players in the current campaign but there are signs that United are over the worst of the injury crisis. Recently, four key members of the squad returned to full training with the first team.

Nonetheless, the Team of Choice have confirmed that Booysen is only likely to return to action some time in mid-November.

This was confirmed to the crew by Maritzburg's Commercial Director, Younus Kadodia. He said, "We're hoping that we get David back by mid-November. Of course it depends entirely on his recovery from the injury."
