Daniel Cardoso, Reeve Frosler, Lebogang Manyama and Samir Nurkovic are the Glamour Boys players selected as Chiefs dominate Booth’s dream team.
There’s also a delightful spread of top performers from the 2019/20 season, which has been halted at the moment because of the spread of the Coronavirus outbreak, and Richard Ofori from Maritzburg United is selected by Booth in goal.
Ofori’s teammate, young Rushine De Reuck, pairs up with Cardoso at centreback, while Frosler and Chippa United’s Tercious Malepe are on the right and left back respectively.
Another stand out player from this campaign is Sundowns midfielder Andile Jali and he, along with SuperSport United’s Dean Furman and Manyama will dictate terms in the middle of the park to support attackers Themba Zwane (Sundowns), Nurkovic and the man who leads the Golden Boot race – Orlando Pirates’ Gabadinho Mhango.
Booth says he would name Bloemfontein Celtic’s Lehlohonolo Seema as the coach, while he picks Daniel Akpeyi, Devine Lunga, Deon Hotto, Luvuyo Memela, Miguel Timm, Gaston Sirino and Bongi Ntuli as his reserves.
