Bloemfontein Celtic’s CEO On Lorenzo Gordinho's Arrival And Kabelo Mahlasela’s Move To Kaizer Chiefs
The chairman of Bloemfontein Celtic, Khumbulani Konco, is delighted to have Lorenzo Gordinho at the club despite losing Kabelo Mahlasela to their rivals.
Kaizer Chiefs confirmed the signing of Mahlasela from Siwelele yesterday, January 04, with the two clubs also agreeing that Amakhosi’s Gordinho will spend a one-year loan spell with Siwelele.
“Lorenzo has proven his worth since his first PSL appearance. He is such an industrious and a resolute type of defender. Signing him will bring more stability in our already reliable defence,” Konco said on Celtic’s official website.
The CEO then went on to admit that they have lost a sensation player in Mahlasela but the club is set to continue bolstering the squad.
“Yes, we have lost one sensational player in Mahlasela, whom we negotiated with to remain at Celtic but he was set on joining Kaizer Chief and we wish Skipper all of the best. Our plan is to make sure we solidify every department with quality players, hence the arrival of such diligent players,” he added.
