A PSL outfit has been given added motivation as the players are said to have been offered bonuses for the remaining games of the season.
In a bid to end their season on a high, Bloemfontein Celtic players could be smiling all the way to the bank if they deliver on the playing field.
The Mangaung outfit has played three matches since the PSL restart, and have managed to muster two wins and a draw. More impressively, their most recent 3-1 win over log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
According the Siya sources, Celtic players have been rewarded with a R5000 win bonuses for their wins over Baroka and Chiefs and will continue to be rewarded until the end of the season.
“Yes, this is something that was agreed by management. The players are motivated by this and are working hard to finish the season on a high. You saw in their performance against Chiefs,” the source said.
Meanwhile, it is understood that should they manage a victory in the Nedbank Cup final against Mamelodi Sundowns, Celtic players will share the R7 million prize money.
John Maduka’s men are in action on Monday, as they take on bottom-placed AmaZulu at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.
