Bloemfontein Celtic are reportedly impressed by what they have seen of former Orlando Pirates striker, Chiukepo Msowoya, who has been on trial at the club since the start of the week.
A source close to the club told the Siya crew that the 27-year-old has managed to impress the Siwelele technical team, who will now try to convince management to sign him when they submit their report on the Malawian.
"He has done very well,” the source said.
“He is more mature now than the time he was at Pirates and his game seems to have improved as well which is good for the team.”
The source added that Msowoya’s work rate has been a stand out feature of his trial. Now Celtic will have to move quickly if they hope to call upon his services before the transfer window slams shut at 5pm.
Phunya Sele Sele have already secured the services of Julius Likontsane and Fiston Abdul Razak last night as they look to bolster their strikeforce.
“The technical team has been impressed with his work rate during the trials,” the souce continued.
”Now it's all up to the management on whether they are signing him before the close of the window period this evening.”
