Bloemfontein Celtic have confirmed the signing of Ryan de Jongh on a three-year deal.
The 28-year-old was playing for Platinum Stars last season - making 25 appearances in all competitions - but has moved on following their relegation into the National First Division.
With Stars becoming Cape Umoya and relocating to the Western Cape, Celtic have moved quickly to acquire the midfielder's signature, with De Jongh joining new head coach, Steve Komphela, at Siwelele.
The move sees the player reunite with Komphela having previously worked together at Maritzburg United, with only Cavin Johnson having used De Jongh more than the former Amakhosi coach.
De Jongh will be eager now to leave his mark in the Free State, and will be working hard in preseason to try and make sure he's in Komphela's plans for the 2018/19 campaign.
