Danleigh Borman looks set to sign a deal with Mpumalanga Black Aces. The 28-year-old has been on trial with Clive Barker’s charges for the past few weeks and a source close to the player has revealed that the defender is expected to be offered a deal.
The left back has been without a club since leaving SuperSport United last season.
However, it now seems his time as a free agent will soon be coming to an end as Black Aces’ coach, Clive Barker, is said to be impressed by Borman’s abilities.
The source told Soccer-Laduma, “Barker spoke to him and said they like him. He calls Danleigh little Dot after his father (Dot Borman was a star for Cape Town Spurs in the 1970s and 80s.) They’ve said they’re going to offer him something.”
The Siya crew attempted to call the club’s technical team to confirm the deal, however Aces were on the training ground. The crew will monitor proceedings to confirm if and when any deal officially goes through.
