Khama Billiat revealed that the set-up at Mamelodi Sundowns is what made him decide to join the club.
The Zimbabwean attacking midfielder has been a hit with the club’s fans since signing for the star-studded side in the recent transfer window.
Speculation was rife that he was to join Orlando Pirates, who were in the race for his signature, but the 23-year-old player chose Sundowns and, in an interview that appears in this week’s edition of Soccer-Laduma, he explains why.
Billiat said, “I had to make a decision that was going to make me happy. Sundowns has the best coach in Pitso (Mosimane) with the best players, so I just thought for me to take my game to the next level, this is the club to come to.”
