Only a few months after joining Wits from Golden Arrows, Musa Bilankulu has left for Bloemfontein Celtic, albeit on a short-term loan deal.
The 28-year-old steely central defender has been at the Clever Boys for six months, but has failed to find regular game time, making one substitute appearance in the league so far and felt that a change of scenery could change his fortunes.
His move was confirmed by his business manager Josias Mphono, who revealed to the Siya crew, “I can confirm that my client Musa Bilankulu has signed a six-month loan deal with Celtic. I am happy for him as he will continue doing what he loves and that is being on the field of play.”
Bilankulu made his professional debut for Arrows in 2005 and his move to Wits as a step forward in his career, but it has not turned that way and he will be hoping to make an immediate impact at Phunya Sele Sele, who are letting Clayton Daniels go to SuperSport United.
