Indications coming out of the Golden Arrows camp is that defender Musa Bilankulu could be leaving the Durban-based side during the off-season, with a potential move to Gauteng on the cards.
Speculation surrounding the 28-year-old is that both Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns are monitoring the player’s situation closely and are keen on adding him to their respective rosters.
A Soccer-Laduma source close to both parties explained that Bilankulu, who can play in defence or midfield, has been targeted by both Bucs and Downs, although Pirates are believed to be the front-runners to land his signature.
Bilankulu made a whopping 27 appearances in the league for Abafana Bes’thende this past campaign, and has developed in leaps and bounds over the past few seasons.
As a consistent performer, the utility player will be a welcomed inclusion to either club as they aim to challenge for honours in the 2013/14 season.
