Biggest PSL Deals Of The January Transfer Window
Soccer Laduma takes a look at some of the biggest transfers from the January transfer window, which closed on Friday afternoon.
SuperSport United have bolstered their squad significantly during the mid-season break, firstly bringing in New Zealand international striker Jeremy Brockie, before surprising everyone by signing Kingston Nkhatha from Kaizer Chiefs.
Matsatsantsa continued to add to the squad on the final day of the transfer window, bringing five-time league winner Daine Klate back to the club, while Amajita defender Ayabulela Magqwaka has also joined Matsatsantsa on loan from Ajax Cape Town.
Orlando Pirates, meanwhile, have strengthed their defensive unit, the Buccaneers have been looking for a goalkeeper to replace the sadly departed Senzo Meyiwa and they have brought in Platinums Stars' Siyabonga Mpontshane.
Pirates have also brought in two defenders, Tshepo Gumede from Platinum Stars, while they secured the services of 25-year-old Mpho Mvelase from Chippa United.
Platinum Stars have also done some good business in the transfer window, they've added pacy Orlando Pirates winger, Tlou Segolela, to the squad and he has been joined by Mamelodi Sundowns duo, Bryce Moon and Punch Masenamela, on loan.
It's been a quiet January for the league leaders, Kaizer Chiefs, who have only managed to snap up Chippa United forward David Zulu, while Mamelodi Sundowns have not signed anyone.
