George Lebese's departure from his USL Championship club Colorado Springs Switchbacks has made the shopping list of free agents available for PSL clubs even juicier, with the likes of Oupa Manyisa, Siphelele Ntshangase and Thabo Qalinge all looking to bounce back.
Lebese confirmed over the weekend that he has parted ways with the Switchbacks and this could interest some of the clubs in the PSL, having seen how he was able to bounce back at the US-based club after a difficult few years, post his Kaizer Chiefs spell. The former Mamelodi Sundowns winger joins an impressive list of players who are waiting to make a return to the top flight.

A number of players have been waiting on the sidelines for various reasons. The likes of Buhle Mkhwanazi and Oupa Manyisa have been trying to resolve financial issues with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila before thinking about making a return to top flight football, while Ntshangase and Keagan Buchanan recently received their clearances from Kaizer Chiefs and Maritzburg United respectively. Thuso Phala, Sameehg Doutie, Darren Keet, Brandon Petersen, Roland Putsche and Thabo Qalinge have been free agents for almost an entire season.
Phala recently confirmed to the Siya crew that he will make a decision on whether or not he will retire. Qalinge has been on trial with AmaZulu, while Putsche looks set to join Usuthu. Petersen will join Amakhosi next season after last playing for Bidvest Wits.
