Bidvest Wits will battle it out for the bronze medal at the the 2018 Future Champions Gauteng International Tournament after losing to ADO Den Haag.

The Clever Boys suffered a 5-3 loss on penalties on Friday afternoon, after the clash ended 1-1 after regulation time.

The Dutch side will face Club Brugge in the final of the competition after the Belgian outfit defeated beat FC Spartak 1-0 in the other semi-final.

Wits will now face Spartak in the third and fourth play-off that is scheduled to get underway at 13h00 on Saturday.

In the other matches, Orlando Pirates defeated Highlands Park 2-1, while Mamelodi Sundowns saw off Italian side AC Reggiana  1-0.

Guys help me here to understand this, Wits,ADO Haan, Spartak and Club Brugge where on the semi's then what were Pirates and Sundowns playing for on the other sides?

Had Kaizer threw in the towel? Where are his young players? Is it costly for fau to participate in this tournament or they didn't qualify or were not invited? Does this confirm fau 's last days of existence?
