AmaZulu have added one more player to their roster, after concluding a deal with Makhosonke Bhengu.
It was reported yesterday (Wednesday) on the Soccer-Laduma web and mobi-site that the KwaZulu-Natal side was looking to add Bhengu to their striking department.
A reliable source in the know confirmed with the Siya crew that the former Orlando Pirates striker has completed his move and will turn out for the Craig Rosslee-coached outfit for the remainder of the season.
“The player has signed. He has been impressive at training. He signed today and is expected to be registered soon,” said the source.
The 29-year-old joins Usuthu as a free agent, having parted ways with Sun Hei in the Hong Kong First Division.
Bhengu is the club’s fifth signing of the January transfer window. The side has already concluded deals with Njabulo Manqana, Luyanda Hlongwa, Phumlani Mhamha and Willem Mwedihanga.
