Bevan Fransman's exit from Maritzburg United came as a shock after his stellar season with the Team of Choice, but he's wasted no time in finding a new club.
It was recently reported that Fransman, who will turn 35 later this year, had decided not to renew his contract in Pietermaritzburg, leaving the club after helping guide them to their first ever cup final as club captain.
Maritzburg have subsequently named Siyanda Xulu as his successor at Maritzburg in terms of the captaincy, and they have also signed young Denwin Farmer as a replacement in the centre of defence.
Fransman, however, was not on a club hunt for long following his nomination for the PSL Defender of the Season award, and it has now been revealed that he has penned a contract with top-flight newcomers, Highlands Park.
Meanwhile, Kapeluschnik also confirmed to the Siya crew that his other client, Jarrod Moroole, has agreed to a new three-year deal with Stellenbosch FC in the NFD.
