Ben Motshwari: 7/10
Motshwari put in a solid showing in the middle of the park and was key to Wits' dominance. He also bagged the Man of the Match award.
Phakamani Mahlambi: 6.5/10
Looked livley for the Clever Boys in the first half and he also provided the assist for Malajila's goal with a fine run down the right flank.
Reeve Frosler: 7/10
The young full-back continues to excel for Wits and he put in another impressive showing against Pirates with some solid defensive work.
Thulani Hlatshwayo: 6.5/10
Hlatshwayo was a rock in the Wits defence and gave Gabuza and Ndoro no space to breath in the final third.
Abbubaker Mobara: 6.5/10
Mobara worked his socks off in the middle of the park and was equally as good when he deputised for Gcaba in defence.
Bongani Khumalo: 6/10
Given a rare start by Gavin Hunt and he did not disappoint. Alongside Hlatshwayo, Khumalo hardly put a foot wrong throughout the 90 minutes.
Mpho Makola: 4/10
The midfielder had a very quiet evening and offered very little going forward.
Thabo Rakhale: 4/10
Rakhale struggled against Hlanti throughout the match and he also squandered a big chance shortly after the halftime break.
Oupa Manyisa: 4/10
The Pirates skipper failed to offer any creativity in the final third and lost the midfield battle.
Patrick Phungwayo: 4/10
Looked lively going forward in the opening exchanges but defensively, he was a bit shaky and he allowed Mahlambi to run around him for the opening goal.
