Best:

Simphiwe Tshabalala: 7/10

The Chiefs skipper had a fantastic game marking his 300th match in the top flight with two well taken goals in the first half.

Mandla Masango: 6.5/10

The former Kaizer Chiefs winger was flying on the wing for Matsatsantsa. He capped off his lively display with a good goal.

Ramahlwe Mphahlele: 7/10

The full-back had a great game on both ends of the pitch.. His runs on the right wing were telling, while he also picked up an assist for the second goal.

Willard Katsande: 6.5/10

The midfield hard-man was not shy to get into the tackles in a game played at a high tempo. He was solid in the middle of park for Amakhosi.

Reneilwe Letsholonyane: 6.5/10

Letsholonyane was one of the players at Matsatsantsa up against their former team. He was instrumental in the creation of the equaliser for Masango and was always lively whenever in possession.

Bruce Bvuma: 6/10

Showed much more presence in his box and was not intimated by a physical SuperSport side. He also produced a fine save in the closing stages to deny Phala.

Worst:

Erick Mathoho: 4/10

The defender did not have the best of games by his standards, and was caught square on a couple occasions.

Michael Morton: 4/10

The defensive midfielder failed to deal with the threat posed by Simphiwe Tshabalala and failed to impose his authority against Willard Katsande.

Onismor Bhasera: 4/10

The Matsatsantsa left full-back was the easy target for Amakhosi's attacks. He could not impose himself on the match.

Joseph Molangoane: 4/10

The Chiefs got in the right positions, but squandered golden chances which could have secured three points for Chiefs.
