Lebohang Maboe: 7/10
Maboe impressed on his full debut for Sundowns, linking up with Morena and Brockie, while also managing to get on the score-sheet.
Thapelo Morena: 7/10
Morena was a real threat down the right flank and had the beating of his man on numerous ocassions. He also carved out a couple chances.
Ricardo Nascimento: 7.5/10
The Brazilian defender managed to find the back of the net for the second game running with a fine header, while he was solid defensively throughout.
Lyle Lakay: 7/10
Started at left-back for the second straight game and put in an impressive display on both ends. He also grabbed the assist for Maboe's goal.
Tiyani Mabunda: 7/10
Mabunda kept things simple in the middle of the mark and did well to silence the influential Maluleke for the home side.
Themba Zwane: 7.5/10
Zwane was vital to Sundowns' dominance in the middle of the park. He kept possession ticking and was a constant threat in the final third.
Ndivhuwo Ravhuhali: 4/10
Was easily beaten by Morena on a few occasions, and was out-jumped by Maboe for Sundowns' second goal.
Vusimuzi Mngomezulu: 5/10
Managed to get in a couple good positions in the final third, but he was let down by his final ball.
Mbulelo Wagaba: 4/10
Squandered Polokwane's biggest chance in the first half when they were down, while he didn't offer enough to trouble the Sundowns defenders.
Tebogo Kalake: 4/10
Similarly to Ravhuhali, Kalake endured a tough night down the flank and was often caught out of position.

@SakiePetrus I'm not convinced at all, he fails in attack and is useless in defending, missing tackles, anyway he has been like that for the past 2 seasons but I know our coach takes a long time to notice, even Arendse is weak

I was happy to see Maboe scoring his fist goal for Sundowns, but is he the man to replace the lion king? lets wait and see

Manyisa played better than mabunda yesterday. Tiyani spent the entire 90min committing fouls non stop if not falling all over the place. Manyisa was the link up between our defence n midfielders, he was very busy stopping polokwane from attacking especially passes to ramag

Please Yellow Nation assist me to understand this, I noticed that our coach never hesitates to substitute Vilakazi when he is not up to scratch, Manyisa has been confused from day 1 but our coach is so patient with him, why? Remember I don't think there is even justification for his purchase
