Best:

Thembinkosi Lorch: 7/10

Lorch got his first goal of the season with a fine strike into the bottom corner.. He was impressive on the wings and his shooting accuracy seems to be improving.

Justin Shonga: 7/10

The Zambian opened his account for Pirates with his header and created havoc for Stars' defence throughout the match.

Jackson Mabokgwane: 7/10

Mabokgwane made his first of few crucial save at the beginning of the match and is starting to prove vital in goals for the Buccaneers.

Musa Nyatama: 7/10

Nyatama put on another impressive shift in a  Pirates shirt. His work ethic in the middle of the park made sure that Pirates don't lose their rhythm throughout the match.

Mpho Makola: 7/10

Makola was played a little deeper than usual in midfield, but he showed his maturity with a disciplined performance, giving the likes of Shonga service to shine upfront.

Innocent Maela: 7/10

Maela was instrumental on the left wing with his overlapping runs. He created the first goal for Shonga with an inch-perfect cross. He was also solid defensively.

Worst:

Dino Visser: 4/10

Visser looked out of sorts for the first goal as Shonga nodded home at the far post. He did not command the 18-yard area.

Manti Mekoa: 4/10

Mekoa appeared lost playing against his former teammate Mpho Makola in midfield. He lacked the drive throughout.

Luvolwethu Mpeta: 4/10

Mpeta was overrun too often on the left wing and struggled to make any headway in the final third.

Zama Rambuwane: 4/10

Zama failed to make his presence know and could not link up with his strike partner,  Bongi Ntuli.

This Manti Mekoa: 4/10 was dead & Buried long before, but Roger because it is his recruit from the old aged home he cannot see that.

I like that "It was a special day for us because on the 27th day on the 27th minute with jersey number 27 Justin Shonga scored the opening goal for us. We controlled the game from start to finish, expect the first chance they had," Sredojevic told SuperSport after the game.
