Best:

Thamsanqa Gabuza: 7/10

The Buccaneers striker was real threat on the night. He got on the score-sheet with a fine acrobatic effort, although he could've had another in the second half.

Issa Sarr: 6.5/10

The Senegalese central midfielder worked tirelessly in the engine room. He was the man holding things together for Pirates.

Thabo Matlaba : 7/10

Matlaba put in a solid showing on both ends of the pitch, most notably going forward, as he bagged a goal and an assist.

Oupa Manyisa: 6.5/10

The Buccaneers captain kept things ticking for his side in the middle of the park and looks to be hitting form at the right time.

Abbubaker Mobara: 7/10

Mobara was a real presence in the middle of the park. He worked tirelessly from box-to-box and also picked up the Man of the Match award.

Happy Jele: 6.5/10

Jele put in a solid showing in the heart of the Pirates defence and did well to nullify the threat of Manzini throughout the match.

Worst:

Kristopher Bergman: 4/10

The Chilli Boys' central defender did not impose himself in the game and gave Thamsanqa Gabuza too much space.

Mpho Mvelase: 4/10

The former Orlando Pirates defender was sloppy at right back and was caught out of position.

Thamsanqa Sangweni: 4/10

The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder was not assertive on the night and was late in the tackles. He was also sent off in the closing stages.

Zama Dlamini: 4/10

The Chilli Boys' goalkeeper looked a little shaky throughout the 90 minutes, and could have done a lot better for Matlaba's goal.
