Justin Shonga: 7.5/10
Replaced Morrison after the half-time break and made an immediate impact by scoring less than 30 seconds into the second stanza, before completing his brace and scoring Pirates' third with a fine strike.
Leonardo Castro: 7/10
Despite ending up on the losing side, Castro was a real livewire up front and gave the Pirates defence a lot of trouble. He also got on the scoresheet with a fine header.
Xola Mlambo: 6.5/10
Mlambo was part of the midfield that dominated the encounter and, along with Nyatama, they proved too strong for Katsande and Meyiwa on the day.
Bernard Morrison: 4/10
Morrison looked lively in the early stages, but he failed to make the correct decisions in the final third and was replaced at the start of the second half.
Ryan Moon: 5/10
Not the liveliest of games for Moon, who struggled against the Pirates defence throughout.
Willard Katsande: 5/10
Returned to the Chiefs line up but did not make the best of impressions as his failed clearance led to Pirates' opening goal. He did look a little off the pace.
Wiseman Meyiwa: 4.5/10
Meyiwa started off well and put in a couple of hard tackles to make his presence felt, but as the game went on, Nyatama and Mlambo took control of the middle of the park.
