Thabo Qalinge: 7/10
Retained his spot in the line-up and was lively down the right flank and was involved in a number of Pirates' attacks. He was named Man of the Match.
Lebohang Maboe: 6.5/10
Maboe was impressive for Maritzburg on the night and threatened on various occasions.
Siphesihle Ndlovu: 6.5/10
Despite getting sent off late in the second half, Ndlovu was a real live-wire for the hosts on the night. He also went close with a couple chances in the first half.
Happy Jele: 7/10
The Pirates defender put in a solid shift in the heart of the Pirates defence and did well to frustrate Rusike.
Richard Ofori: 6/10
The Ghanaian international's box was bombarded with cross and he managed to command his area whenever balls were thrown in the box.
Ntsikelelo Nyauza: 6/10
Alongside Jele, Nyauza was vital to keeping Rusike and the other attackers at bay. He looks to be building a solid understanding with Jele.
Bernard Morrison: 4/10
Morrison was quiet on the lefy flank and did not have much impact going forward.
Mxolisi Kunene: 4/10
Kunene worked hard off the ball, but he was quiet going forward for Maritzburg.
Pogiso Sanoka: 4/10
Had a tough time in the first half, and gave away a couple needless fouls. He was lucky not to be sent off for a second bookable offence in the second half.
Musa Nyatama: 4/10
Nyatama did not have a bad game, but his influential on the encounter was not as big as previous matches.
