Percy Tau: 7.5/10
Tau was a constant threat in the Brazilians' attack and he showed great resilience to power through a goal after being frustrated by being fouled over and over.
Hlompho Kekana: 7/10
Kekana was once again at his best for Masandawana. He was dominant in the middle of the park and he provided a fantastic through ball for Tau's breakthrough goal.
Oupa Manyisa: 7/10
The former Buccaneers midfielder worked tirelessly in midfield by keeping the tempo of the match at a high level for Masandawana with and without the ball.
Denis Onyango: 7/10
The towering figure of Onyango was crucial for Masandawana in set-pieces. The Ugandan shot-stopper made a save of the match when he timely tackled Evans Rusike, who was through on goal following a terrible back pass from Tebogo Langerman.
Pogiso Sanoka: 7/10
The United centre-back had a storming game at the back. He repelled Masandawana attacks time and again until the quality of Tau decided the match. But he was imposing even after the goal.
Evans Rusike: 6.5/10
Rusike found pockets of space in the final third and was unlucky not to have been on the score-sheet after Onyango made himself big enough to take away what was almost a sure goal following a bad back pass from Langerman.
Deolin Mekoa: 4/10
Deolin was very quiet by his standards. He was rightly substituted in the last quarter of the match.
Siyanda Xulu: 4/10
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs defender was sloppy. He looked lethargic and was always late to tackles.
Thapelo Morena: 5/10
Morena was not given space to make his customary runs on the right wing and thereby quiet.
Themba Zwane: 5.5/10
Zwane was tightly marked in this match. He did not show the character that Tau showed to keep on probing despite being targeted by defenders.
