Soccer Laduma selects the six best and four worst performers following Mamelodi Sundowns' 2-0 win over Bidvest Wits.
Best:
Themba Zwane: 7/10
Zwane proved to be a replacement in the absence of Khama Billiat upfront. He linked up well with the fellow attackers, while he also netted the opening goal.
Percy Tau: 7/10
Tau turned the game on its head twice when he dispossessed Ntshangase and assisted the two goals with great vision and accuracy.
Sibusiso Vilakazi: 6.5/10
Vilakazi had a good game for Masandawana during his cameo. He missed an earlier opportunity but made for it by netting Sundowns' second goal.
Gaston Sirino: 6.5/10
The Uruguayan is starting to settle in at Masandawana as he continued to combine well with Tau, Zwane and Vilakazi against the Clever Boys.
Ricardo Nascimento: 7/10
The Brazilian was solid at the back and gave nothing away.
Wayne Arendse: 7/10
Arendse was equally strong at the back, keeping the Clever Boys at bay.
Worst:
Phumlani Ntshangase: 4/10
Ntshangase made the same error twice that led to the two goals conceded by Wits. He was too casual in the middle of the park against the agile Downs attack.
Thabang Monare: 4/10
Monare lacked his usual composure in midfield.
Elias Pelembe: 4/10
Pelembe was too flat and lacked ideas going forward.
Daine Klate: 4/10
Klate was also not his usual self. He was not given time and space on the ball on the wings.
