Thabo Rakhale: 7/10
The former Orlando Pirates winger was a constant threat for the Chilli Boys going forward. He produced a moment of brilliance to accelerate past Eric Mathoho and beat Khune for the opening goal.
Linda Mntambo: 7/10
Mntambo may not have got on the scoresheet but he was the provider of the second goal. He was the main link going forward for Chippa whenever they had a possession turn-over.
Paseka Mako: 7/10
Mako was superb on the left wing-back. He complimented his surging runs with accurate crosses as he assisted the third goal for Edward Manqele. He was also voted Man of the Match.
Daniel Akpeyi: 7/10
Akpeyi made crucial saves to keep United in the match especially in the first stanza.
James Okwuosa: 7/10
The Nigerian defender often makes errors at the back but today, he was tight on Chiefs’ Leonardo Castro and kept him quiet throughout the match.
Mxolisi Macuphu: 7/10
Macuphu’s positioning was brilliant throughout the match. His second goal 12 minutes before time was crucial for Chippa.
Bongolethu Jayiya: 4/10
Jayiya was brought into the match in the 14th minute but was then substituted half-an-hour before time after failing to make an impact.
Eric Mathoho: 4/10
Mathoho lacked tactical discipline and was exploited by the astute Thabo Rakhale for the opening goal.
Philani Zulu: 4/10
Zulu was never in the match. He could not provide width when Siphiwe Tshabalala was tightly marked.
Ryan Moon: 4/10
Moon was too casual upfront. He got the best chances for Chiefs especially in the first half but failed to convert.
