Thembinkosi Lorch: 7.5/10
Lorch was very effective upfront. He was left free on the right channel caused a number of problems. His opening goal was crucial.
Mthokozisi Dube: 7.5/10
Dube's pace and energy while making his overlapping runs was difficult to handle for Arrows. His forays forward were rewarded with a rather fortuitous goal.
Musa Nyatama: 7.5/10
Nyatama worked tirelessly in midfield and provided the assist for Lorch's goal. He seems to be having a good understanding with new signing Xolani Mlambo. He claimed the Man of the Match award/
Gladwin Shitolo: 7/10
Shitolo was solid at the back. His interceptions and reading of the game were excellent.
Xolani Mlambo: 7/10
Mlambo is starting to settle into the highly technical Bucs team. He was key to the Buccaneers' dominance in the middle of the park alongside Nyatama.
Lerato Lamola: 6.5/10
Lamola was unlucky not to have been on the scoresheet. his pace on the left channel was difficult to handle for Bucs. He played with a lot of heart and energy.
Zolani Nkombelo: 4/10
Nkombelo’s right defensive channel was a highway for Bucs’ Thembinkosi Lorch especially in the first half. He lacked pace and energy to deal with a highly fluid Bucs attacks.
Mzwandile Buthelezi: 4/10
Buthelezi was equally disappointing on the right as the Buccaneers had a lot of joy down both flanks.
Siphelele Magubane: 4/10
Mabugane did not offer much going forward and was eventually replaced midway through the second half.
Luvuyo Memela: 5/10
Memela had a memorable game in the Soweto derby, but was very quiet by his standards on Saturday night.
