Bangaly Soumahoro: 7/10
The Ivorian put in a solid showing in the heart of the Sundowns defence and he also scored the winning goal with a fine effort in the first half.
Motjeka Madisha: 6.5/10
Alongside Soumahoro, Madisha hardly put a foot wrong in the defence as Sundowns kept a clean sheet.
Sibusiso Vilakazi: 7/10
Vilakazi had a lot of influence on the day. He played a part in the game's only goal and was also named Man of the Match.
Denis Onyango: 6.5/10
The Ugandan was a rock between the sticks. He commanded his box and pulled off a match-winning save in second-half stoppage time.
Kudakwashe Mahachi: 6.5/10
Arrows did threaten on the day, and the Zimbabwean was a real threat against his former side. He was unlucky not to score in the first half when he rattled the crossbar.
Nkanyiso Mngwengwe: 6.5/10
Despite conceding the early goal, Mngwengwe put in a real solid performance in the Arrows defence and did well to frustrate Percy Tau.
Oupa Manyisa: 4.5/10
Manyisa was restored to the line up, but hardly made a big impact going forward unlike Vilakazi.
Siphelele Magubane: 4.5/10
Magubane hardly threatened down the left flank and was taken off shortly after the break.
Lerato Lamola: 4.5/10
Lamola endured a tough afternoon against Madisha and Soumahoro and failed to make his presence felt.
Percy Tau: 5/10
Tau was not at his usual best on the day, and out-muscled by the Arrows defenders on a few occasions.
