Percy Tau: 8/10
Tau replaced Laffor after 28 minutes and injected some real pace in the game, while he also netted two wonderful goals.
Sibusiso Vilakazi: 6.5/10
Vilakazi was a real live-wire in the middle of the park for Sundowns, and alongside Manyisa, they kept things ticking.
George Lebese: 6.5/10
Lebese saw a lot of more of the ball on the night. He linked up well with teammates and also impressed from dead-ball situations.
Bangaly Soumahoro: 7/10
The Ivorian was moved into the midfield on the night and put in an impressive display in front of the back four.
Nhlanhla Vilakazi: 7/10
Vilakazi was one of the better players for Stars on the night. He looked lively on the ball and he capped off his display with a goal late in the second half.
Wayne Arendse: 6.5/10
Arendse made a return to the Sundowns line up and put in a solid showing, as he frustrated Mthembu for most of the game.
Edward Manqele: 4/10
Made his first start of the season, but he had no joy against the Sundowns defence and was replaced shortly after the halftime break.
Leonardo Castro: 5/10
Castro didn't have a bad game. He missed one chance in the first half, but was quiet in the second. Lacking match fitness.
Mumuni Abubakar: 4/10
Struggled a bit against Manyisa and Vilakazi, and was eventually repalced midway through the second half.
Paulus Masehe: 4/10
Wasn't at his best throughout the night, as Sundowns attacked through the middle of numerous occassions.
