Soccer Laduma selects the six best and four worst performers, following Kaizer Chiefs' 1-1 draw with Free State Stars on Saturday evening.

Best:

Itumeleng Khune: 7/10

Khune was at his best again and apart from the goal he conceded through a deflection, he was solid. He made crucial saves to deny Stars at least two clear cut chances.

Bernard Parker: 7/10

Parker scored a decisive goal to save Amakhosi face shortly after conceding an own goal.

Siphiwe Tshabalala: 6.5/10

Tshabalala played between the lines well and had enough space to pick out passes but the team were not playing at the right pace.

George Maluleka: 6/10

Maluleka was unlucky not to have found the back of the net. He got into good spaces to have a crack at goals but his finishing let him down.

Nhlanhla Vilakazi: 6/10

Vilakazi forced an own goal out of Daniel Cardoso but he was lively whenever Stars went forward.

Sinethemba Jantjie: 6/10

Jantjie cut open the Amakhosi defence with ease especially in the opening 15 minutes and was unlucky not to have got on the scoresheet.

Worst:

Philani Zulu: 4/10

Zulu was unusually flat in this match. He could not provide the width he normally gives on the left wing and was often caught out of position.

Daniel Cardoso: 4/10

Cardoso was chasing shadows especially in the first half, maybe he still needs to get used to playing with new man Teenage Hadebe at the back but the own goal he conceded was sloppy.

Patrick Phungwayo: 4/10

Tshabalala had a field day on the right wing, being gifted too much space to do whatever he wanted to do. The former Orlando Pirates player should be knowing better not to allow Shabba time and space on the ball.

Gustavo Paez: 4/10

Paez was anonymous throughout. He has not shown up since the resumption of the league following the international break.
