Best:

Dumisani Zuma – 7/10

The diminutive Zuma was lively all evening until his substitution late in the second half and combined well with the attacking components.

Godfrey Walusimbi – 7/10

The best game he has played for the club since arriving at the start of the season. Offered more in attack and defence.

Khama Billiat – 7/10

The Zimbabwean once again stepped up and was integral to every offensive move, as he assisted with the second goal converted by Siyabonga Ngezana.

Ramahlwe Mphahlele – 7/10

‘Rama’ kept the offensive and defensive balance extremely well and was rewarded with a goal in the first half.

Butholezwe Ncube – 6.5/10

Ncube was the club’s best player on the field always looking to find pockets of spaces in the opposing defence, but was left with little support time and again.

Siyethemba Sithebe – 6.5/10

Along with Ncube, the duo was battling hard to get the ball going up front but was left with no support from their fellow teammates.

Worst:

Mbongeni Gumede – 5/10

The former Orlando Pirates man struggled to contain the attacking three from Chiefs, as the pace of Zuma, Billiat and Lebogang Manyama proved too much.

Ovidy Karuru – 4/10

Up against his former club, the Zimbabwean was completely absent in the offensive third, failing to get on the ball let alone a shot on target.

Siphelele Ntshangase- 5/10

Despite receiving a few touches on the ball, Ntshangase was not his usual self and didn’t provide the usual attacking impetus to the front-line.

Bernard Parker – 4/10

In the first half, the Chiefs striker could’ve had a hat-trick with the number of missed chances and was found further away from goal in the second half.
