Best:
 
Talent Chawapiwa -7/10
 
The main man throughout the game for Baroka. His pace and creativeness had the more fancied Soweto giants on tender-hooks the duration of the encounter.
 
Mduduzi Mdantsane – 7/10
 
With a deft pass through the front-men, Mdantsane combined well with Chawapiwa at times and whenever he got on the ball, looked to make something dangerous happen.
 
Siphiwe Tshabalala – 7/10
 
 Veteran Shabba was one of the Amakhosi’s brightest sparks  on the park though was unable to inspire confidence with little to no support around him. He also netted the equaliser.
 
Siyabonga Ngezana – 6.5/10
 
Ngezana replaced Mathoho in the line-up, but other than the poor communication for the own goal, the youngster put in  solid showing in the heart of the defence.
 
Mpho Kgaswane – 7/10
 
Unfortunate not to get on the score-sheet just after halftime. His hard-running nature and ability to go into every challenge unscaved earned him huge plaudits.
 
Matome Kgoetyane – 7/10
 
Operating down the wing and underlapping from time to time, Kgoetyane caused problems for the young fullback Siphosake Ntiya-Ntiya who was all at sea containing their offensive variations.
 
Worst:
 
Itumeleng Khune: 5/10
 
Other than the mix-up that led to the own goal, Khune looked shaky on a few occasions, especially under the high ball. 
 
Leonardo Castro: 4/10
 
Struggled to combine with Paez for most of the game, while he squandered a glorious chance to score in the first half.
 
Gustavo Paez – 4/10
 
The Venezuelan front-man was unconvincing on the night, where he failed to lead the attack the way an attacking footballer should. He did squander a chance to score in the second half.
 
Thabo Moseki: 4/10
 
Was taken off midway through the first half as he was sloppy on the ball in the middle of the park, which led to a number of Chiefs attacks.
