Sibusiso Vilakazi: 8/10
Vilakazi was really impressive for Sundowns on the night. He scored two crucial goals and was a constant threat on the ball.

Tau’s speed was a problem for the Usuthu defenders. He won the penalty that led to Ricardo Nascimento's goal and he also played a role in Sundowns' third goal.
Wayne Arendse: 7/10
Arendse played a blinder in defence. He saved a certain goal in the first half and did well to frustrate the likes of Siyabonga Nomvethe and Mabhuti Khenyeza throughout the contest.
Gaston Sirino: 7/10
Sirino has accelerated the Sundowns attacks going forward. He showed a lot of composure on the ball and was unlucky not to get on the score-sheet himself.
Ricardo Nascimento: 7/10
Nascimento was solid at the back for the Brazilians throughout the contest. He also opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
Mhlengi Cele: 7/10
Cele’s energy down the left flank worked well for Usuthu upfront and he was a rewarded with a goal in the first half.
Sedat Ouro-Akoriko: 4/10
Akoriko was not at his best on the night. He struggled to deal with the pace of Tau upfront and conceded a needless penalty.
Michael Morton: 4/10
Uncharacteristically gave the ball away on a couple occasions, most notably when Sundowns bagged their third goal.
Mbongeni Gumede: 5/10
Gumede was also caught napping on counter-attacks and it seemed the intensity of the match was too much for him defensively.
Brimah Razak: 5/10
Razak did not look assured in the box at time andIt was his error that led to Usuthu's equaliser.
